BOOK - From the Ghetto to the Green
AUTOGRAPHED COPY. Written by Pittsburgh native and 2008 NBGHF inductee, Robert "Rock" Robinson, From the Ghetto to Green is an inspiration to
those young men and women born into poverty. The story is based
in Pittsburgh and shares with the reader a way out of poverty through education
and faith. The book tells the compelling story of how a single mother of
eight scraped and sacrificed to make a way for her kids. In
short, the book shows how to stay strong when faced with
prejudice, adversity, affliction and being dealt a bad hand. The
metaphoric use of the Ghetto
and the Green will allow readers to understand that success lies
just beyond one’s comfort zone. For more information on the author and his Pittsburgh based West Penn Minority Junior Golf Association vist his website at www.wpmjga.org.
